When it comes to pre-workouts, finding one that delivers both in taste and performance is no easy task. Enter NXT TNT Nuclear Pre-Workout—a high-strength formula packed with powerful ingredients designed to elevate your workouts. In this review, I’ll share my experience with the Fizzy Cola Flavour, from its mixability and taste to how it performed during an intense gym session.

Key Ingredients and Nutritional Info

Here’s what makes NXT TNT Nuclear Pre-Workout a powerhouse:

• 350mg Caffeine: A hefty dose to boost energy, focus, and endurance.
• 3,000mg Beta-Alanine: Reduces muscle fatigue and enhances endurance with its signature tingling effect.
• 3,000mg Arginine: Promotes better blood flow and muscle pumps by increasing nitric oxide levels.
• 1,000mg Citrulline Malate: Improves oxygen delivery and reduces fatigue for sustained performance.

With 40 servings per tub, it’s a solid option for anyone looking to power through challenging workouts.

Mixability

For this review, I used my trusty pre-workout scoop and mixed it in a small glass with water. As soon as I started stirring, the powder turned into a light brown, cola-like liquid with a frothy top.

The mixability was great overall, but I did notice some particles settling at the bottom after a while, which is pretty standard for pre-workouts. A quick extra stir or shake resolved this issue easily. The final mix resembled a glass of cola—not just in colour but also in frothy texture.

Taste

Let’s talk flavour. Fizzy Cola Flavour perfectly captures the taste of fizzy cola bottle sweets. It’s slightly tangy, sweet, and refreshing, making it a joy to drink compared to many other pre-workouts that often have an overpowering or artificial aftertaste.

If you’re a fan of cola sweets, this flavour will likely become your new favourite. Even after the workout, I found myself still thinking about how good it tasted!

Performance and Effects

After drinking the pre-workout, I experienced the following effects:

1. Tingles and Energy Boost:
Within 10 minutes, the beta-alanine kicked in with its classic tingling sensation. While this faded quickly, it was soon replaced by a clean and powerful energy boost. I felt focused, alert, and ready to tackle my workout. Unlike some pre-workouts that leave you feeling jittery or “buzzed,” this one provided a smooth, clean energy that lasted throughout my session.
2. Gym Session:
My workout lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes, which is longer than my usual sessions. I trained shoulders and arms, going as heavy as possible while maintaining short rest periods. By the end of the session, I still felt energised enough to add a 10-minute run to my routine.
3. Post-Workout:
Even 4 hours after taking the pre-workout, I felt energised without any crash or fatigue—a rare quality in many high-caffeine formulas. This makes it ideal for anyone who needs long-lasting energy without the risk of a sudden drop in performance or mood.

Final Thoughts

NXT TNT Nuclear Pre-Workout in Fizzy Cola Flavour exceeded my expectations, delivering on both taste and performance. It’s perfect for those who need a clean, sustained energy boost for long or intense sessions.

Pros:

• Excellent fizzy cola flavour
• Clean and long-lasting energy boost
• No crash or jittery feelings
• Effective mix of performance-enhancing ingredients

Cons:

• Some particles may settle at the bottom if not stirred well

Whether you’re pushing through heavy lifting, high-intensity cardio, or a marathon gym session, this pre-workout has you covered. It’s a fantastic choice for those looking for something strong, reliable, and enjoyable to drink.

I personally tried the banana flavour, and I was impressed. The flavour strikes a perfect balance—neither too artificial nor overly subtle. It’s reminiscent of a classic banana milkshake, offering a rich and satisfying taste without being overwhelming. If you love banana, this one is a treat.

Mixability

Using a standard shaker with a metal spring, I mixed one heaped scoop with a combination of milk and water. After shaking for about a minute, the protein powder dissolved completely, leaving no lumps or granules. The mix was smooth, with no gritty or floury texture, even at the bottom of the shaker—a testament to its excellent instant formula.

Nutritional Breakdown

Each 25-serving tub of Time 4 Pre-Workout contains a well-balanced formula designed to fuel your training. The key ingredients include:

350mg Caffeine – A strong dose for increased alertness and energy.
2.3g Beta-Alanine – Known for causing that signature tingling sensation while supporting endurance.
3.5g Citrulline Malate – Helps enhance blood flow and muscle pump during workouts.

With these ingredients, the supplement promises an intense and sustained boost—so let’s see how it performs.

Taste & Mixability

I’ve been using the Bubblegum flavour for years, but I decided to give Tropical a try.

• Taste: Surprisingly good! I don’t usually go for tropical flavours, but this one was refreshing and enjoyable.
• Mixability: I used a milk frother to blend it, which resulted in a slight foam on top. However, with a proper mix, it dissolves well with no grainy residue or clumps.

Pro Tip: If you prefer a quick pre-workout shot, use minimal water to down it in 1-2 gulps. Otherwise, mix with more water for a smoother drink.

Performance & Effects

Tingling Sensation: Within 15 minutes, I could feel the Beta-Alanine kicking in, starting from my face and working its way down to my fingers. If you love that pre-workout buzz, you’ll enjoy this.

Energy Surge: As the tingling faded, the real energy boost began. This was perfectly timed for my gym session, ensuring I hit the weights with full intensity.

Workout Endurance: I trained for 2 hours, including a heavy back and biceps session, followed by a 10-minute run. Despite the long session, I never felt fatigued or sluggish.

No Crash: One of my biggest concerns with pre-workouts is the dreaded crash. However, even hours after my session, I still felt great with no sudden energy drop.

Final Verdict

Time 4 Nutrition’s Pre-Workout delivers powerful energy, great endurance, and zero crash—making it a solid choice for anyone looking to push their limits.

Pros:
Strong, long-lasting energy boost
No mid-session crash
Great mixability and taste
Multiple flavours available

Cons:
The tingling might not be for everyone
Slight foaming when mixed aggressively

Would I recommend it? Absolutely! If you’re looking for a high-performance pre-workout, this one is worth trying.
