High-Protein Overnight Oats

A quick, creamy breakfast that can be prepared the night before and taken with you the following morning.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Chilling time: At least 4 hours
Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • 50g rolled oats
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein
  • 100g 0% Greek yoghurt
  • 120ml milk
  • ½ banana, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon, optional

Method

  1. Add the oats and whey protein to a jar or container and mix them together.
  2. Add the Greek yoghurt and milk, then stir thoroughly until no dry protein powder remains.
  3. Stir in half of the sliced banana and save the remaining slices for the topping.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours, or leave overnight.
  5. Stir before eating. Add a small splash of milk when a thinner consistency is preferred.
  6. Top with the remaining banana and a light sprinkle of cinnamon.

Add a small amount of peanut butter, fresh fruit, chopped nuts or sugar-free syrup. Remember that toppings will change the calories and macros.
